About our Organization
The Northwest UU Justice Network is a growing group of Unitarian Universalists who are committed to working together to build a more just and sustainable world. This year we will implement several programs designed to help UUs in our region support each other in their justice work.
- NW UU Justice Summit
- UU Justice Program Census
- Support for the Birth and Development of Issue-oriented Sub-networks
- Network Website
Both the development and implementation of these programs is being supported by the efforts of scores of volunteers, as well as by the generosity of individuals, congregations, and foundations that share our vision and support our work through donations and grants. Of particular note is the Fund for Unitarian Universalist Social Responsibility which has provided grant support for the Network's initial implemeation (in 2012) and growth (in 2012) towards sustainability. Learn more about how you can help the Network, here.
We are a young organization that anticipates incorporating as a non-profit when our size and operational complexity warrants striking out on our own. Presently we are governed by a Board of Directors, with a volunteer Executive Director and a few part time staff.
