Fundraiser for Pull Together Campaign to Protect the Salish Sea, Bellevue, Wash., June 14, 2017

Members of East Shore UU in Bellevue have been working with Sierra Club to organize a fundraiser of the area's Pull Together campaign. It's the first fundraiser on the east side for this cause.

Doors open at 6:30 PM. Program from 7:00-8:30 PM.

No entrance fee. Snacks and drinks provided.

Mark your calendars for June 14th! Hear a panel of local experts discuss Kinder Morgan’s proposed pipeline and tanker project that will bring oil from Alberta tar sands to the British Columbia coast for shipping. If the plan is implemented, oil tanker traffic will increase sevenfold, degrading all of Puget Sound. First Nations people have vowed to stop it, and organizations such as Sierra Club, 350.org, and Earth Ministry are pulling together to help them protect the Salish Sea. Support those fighting to defend our waters:
