St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, University Unitarian Church, and Congregation Beth Shalom are sponsoring another movie together as part of Earth Ministry's Colleague Connections program. "From the Ashes" will be shown at St. Andrew's (111 N.E. 80th St. at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 6. The film tells the story of coal in the United States through the voices of coal miners and takes the viewer around the country exploring what people are doing in the face of the energy and climate crisis. There is a direct link to our own Pacific Northwest.
